Bridal Couture Has Been Sold!

I heard through the grapevine that Bridal Couture is going out of business. I think they sold it to someone else. I heard it from another bridal store. The owner knows my sister.

maybe now someone can take it over who has superior customer service skills! From what I've heard that store was horrible.....

so they're not going out of business, they're changing owners? that would be great because the owner, in my opinion, is the root of all evil there!

Glad I got my dress months before I heard this....

I can't stand that owners daughter who manages the place - she is the rudest person in the store. So guess she'll be out of there! I had an ok to nice experience with eveyrone else in the place...

I'm bumping this because I passed by Bridal Couture today (Littlecat, it's Bridal Couture of Manhasset on Northern Blvd.)...

They had a huge 70% off sign in the window, and I want the girls on this site who ordered their gowns there to make sure they go in to check everything out. I'm not trying to be an alarmist, but if I hadn't done this for one of my best friends when her store was on the brink, she wouldn't have had her wedding gown.

Just check it out ladies!!

I just talked to Iman yesterday...and she didn't say anything so i dont think it is Iman...definitely not...they seem to be doing fine.

But...i am wondering myself...

Update: Thanks to this board I took a ride to Bridal Couture to find out what's going on. Howerver, it was closed. There are no signs saying they are selling, going out of business, or new management. Only a big sign with 70% off, but it doesn't say for what. I looked into the store, and everything looked normal. They do have a big sign about the various trunk shows coming up. They normally are open Sunday's but I guess because of Memorial Day, they closed today Has anyone heard anything else?

I went a week ago for my last fitting, and they have a sale, but just in selected models. I know that some of you had problems with their staff, but with me they have been wonderful. I am picking up my gown on Thursday.
