I know some of you have done your dress shopping and are searching. I haven't done any of this yet and probably wont until the summer.. But tonight i won $200 off a wedding dress at TWOTY from Bridal Elegance. Has anyone been there before? Any reviews of their service and the designers they carry?

bridal elegance is owned by phyllis, the woman that everyone keeps talking about from the website gownfind. She can get anything you want! I called her about a dress that I fell in love with and she was going to get the dress for me $500 cheaper than what everyone else was quoting me! You can definitely put that coupon to good use. i went there to look at BM dresses... she doesn't have a huge selection but she can get any dress and carries most of the known designers. it's worth checking out and seeing what she can get for you. Plus she does alterations and caps them pretty cheap. Most of the brides who have used her rave about her.

they are very nice and you can walk-in anytime. no appointments necessary. they quoted me about $550 less on a dress I love. I agree they don't carry a huge selection, but can get you anything you want for less than most places.

I wouldn't suggest going to her to try on a huge variety of dresses because she is limited in her selection....however she seems to be able to get anything you want (much cheaper than most).
We ordered my best friend's wedding dress there and our bridesmaid dresses, and our bridesmaid dresses came out to be 118 with tax!!!! and alterations cap out at 55. This is the dress.
As far as the ordering process (the wedding dress actually came in before the bridesmaid dresses) and she was the first person I worked with who actually orders the dress size you need, not a size or two too big in hopes of making money off of alterations. We had three girls who all wear a 3/4 in pants, and she made them all try on the mori lee line to see how it fit each girl. One girl ordered a 1/2 one ordered a 3/4 and the other ordered a 5/6. The wedding is this july so after we do alterations and what not I will have a bit more of a review on that for you.
I can say that we went to phyllis after leaving the wedding center in commack. We all left the wedding center with agida and were all cranky. Phyllis put each and every one of us at ease (there were 5 of us) and we all began laughing and joking again!!!

ooh thats great.. I guess i'll go to other places first and try on dresses and then go to her when i think i've found the dress, try on some there and ask her to order the dress i like.
