has anyone gotten fitted there? Thats where i got my dress and I was capped at $400 for alterations. I wanted to know if anyone hadit done there, did she try charging you your full cap and if bustle was alot more. Thanks!

I had my BM dress for my sister's wedding altered there and it was a bad experience. The alterations for BMs were capped and she did charge the full amount, but the alterations were done so poorly that I had to bring the dress to another seamstress to have it fixed. I wound up paying twice for the alterations.
I've seen other brides post that they also were unhappy with their alterations.

I go for my first fitting mid July b/c there is so much work that has to be done to the dress. The reason I bought my dress there was b/c of the posts I read (at the time) about what a fabulous seamstress she was. Just like any vendor, there will be raves & complaints. Let me know how it goes!

I got a BM dress done there for my friends wedding next week actually. The alterations were alright but I wasnt thrilled with the women doing it. She saw I was engaged too and started asking a ton of questions about me wedding and where I got all of my girls dresses and my dress and started judging me for not using them. I felt a little uncomfortable with that. I think the alterations were all right but mine were also just taking in the chest area so its not hard to mess up.
