Bridal Elegance or Bridal Reflections of Carle Place?!

Hey girls, after a long search, I have finally found my dress yay! My question relates to where I should purchase the dress and do alterations. My choices are Bridal Elegance and Bridal Reflections of Carle Place. My sister and the bridal party ordered dresses from Bridal Elegance a few years ago and the price and alterations were great. However, Bridal Reflections carries the dress and is familiar with the designer. Can you please share your experiences with Bridal Elegance and Bridal Reflections of Carle Place and let me know your thoughts?!

Well, before it vanishes, there's a review of a very horrific experience at Bridal Reflections in CP. We ordered ours from Bridal Elegance! She will give you the lowest best price! My FSIL got her dress and whole BM party from her last year and had no problems at all. Her wedding was prime season in June.

i had a wonderful experience with my own gown from BR in carle place, but ive heard horror stories about their bridesmaids section

that being said, i ordered my BM gowns from bridal elegance, and they came in 2 months later than they were supposed to (they said it was the designer's fault, but who knows). also, their alterations are capped at $80 i think for bridesmaids and they basically charged everyone $80 (plus tax) even if they just needed a little hem or taken in slightly. just keep that in mind. overall it was a good experience (because i had the girls order in january for my november wedding - gowns came in in late july - was supposed to be early june). they thought my wedding was the first week in october. i just know some of the girls were annoyed with the alterations price

phyllis is really nice, but i literally went into that store 150 times and she never recognized me every time i went in i had to explain who i was - and i had a HUGE BP (10 girls, 2 FGs) and my mom, MIL, aunt, and grandma all ordered their gowns from there too
