Bridal expo

Has anyone ever been to the bridal expo in the Marriott Uniondal? I was thinking of going to one.

Yeah i went to one in March! It was fun!! They have a good amount of vendors and of course there are door prizes and such. They also have a DJ and Band perform which was great and then they had a fashion show with dresses (bride, BM, and MOB)!! That was my favorite part! But you have to becareful after you go b/c I got a lot of phone calls from 'vendors' that said I won all this junk and it was just a hoax and they were trying to get money from me...just have to be on your guard but that does not mean you shouldn't go!! They are a lot of fun!!

I did Bridal Expo's with my sister when she was getting married. I didn't feel the need to go to any of them for my wedding. After reading reviews here, we had an idea of who we wanted to book, and I knew what kind of dress I wanted and what I wanted my BM's to wear. So with that said, no I have never been to that one, but you do have to be careful about the phone calls. There annoying!

I went to quite a few recently with a friend who got married.

She wanted to see a bunch of vendors, etc..

Been to the ones at the Marriot and the Hilton. It seems like they have them all the time.

Well, I've never been to the one at the Marriot, but FH and I did go to a showcase at the Watermill a long while ago. The only really good thing that I came away with from there was all the vendors had brochures to give out and a lot of them had coupons on them. So I still have a coupon from Proline for either $100 off, free e-shoot, 50 xtra TY, or free colorized B&W protrait. Also I got a coupon from Royaty for like $100. So in that case it's good.
