Bridal Expo?

Hi Ladies,

I know there are a few bridal expos this week (tonight in Uniondale and tomorrow in Huntington). I registered but I'm not sure if it's worth going. I've heard the vendors are VERY pushy and it's overcrowded. Any thoughts would be appreciated - I don't want to drive out there for nothing!

I have gone to MANY over the past 6 months.

Tell me what the actualy name of the expo is and I can tell you if I have gone.

1. They ARE crowded.

That being said:

1. Get there early, like 1 hour if you can. Get there early, leave early. In and out is what I did.

2. Make a 'fake' e-mail address. I did [email protected]

3. PRINT OUT YOUR OWN STICKY LABELS!!!! Go to staples today and get the avery return labels. 3 collum 30 to a page.

They have all sorts of 'giveaways' and contests. This way you dont have to sit and fill out a card for every contest. Just stick it on the enrty form!

4. Go and enter EVERYTHING. You dont really win but you get tons of e-mails with tons of coupons and specials.

5. You can get all sorts of 'bridal show' discounts by going. If you are looking for vendors its a great way to see who is out there. Get the coupon. Ask THIS board if anyone has used. If you like them make an appointment. It cant hurt!!

6. The goody bag always *****. But it has $5.00 bridal mag's in it. I like getting the free mag's.

I went to one in Ronkonkoma... The 'fashion show' was a JOKE. Seriously. My MOH and I laughed at every model and dress that come out. 'Like, are they serious with that?'
