Anyone plan on going in April? Has anyone been before? I'm thinking of coming down for the weekend so I can go, but do you think it's worth it?

I went to the one in the fall...it's worth it if you still need a lot of your vendors. Otherwise it's a big headache. I did like that they had different limo companies in the parking lot that you could go and look at

This! It was soo far for me to drive and it was very hectic and crazy... But can be helpful if you need vendors

Good question! Would any of you ladies suggest going if you're just getting your feet wet in wedding planning? Our plan is to venue hunt this summer so I'm pretty much a venue/vendor virgin. Will it be too overwhelming? Is it more informational or vendors looking for your signature on the dotted line?
I think I'll probably go, I still need most vendors and think it will be fun!

There are some venues there too so I think it would be worth your while, its not just vendors. I went to the fall one of 2013 and my wedding isn't until November 2015, some vendors didn't give me exact prices. They really just want your info to get in touch with you afterwards.

Has anyone ever been to the LI Bridal Expo ?(different than the Extravaganza lol) I'd like to attend one of them, specifically to look for DJs & limos, but I'm not sure which one would be more worthwhile! It looks like this Extravaganza has more vendors so it's probably the better pick!

that one is terrible if u ask me. hey have less then half the vendors that liw one has! this one is so much better!
and I found alot of the vendors there have coupons or discounts if u book with them after the expo. and then in the other hand some won't give u any price quotes! fyi
I might go....I don't need any of the big vendors but. maybe I can find a good deal on some extras!
