Thinking of not having the garter toss during the reception. Should I still wear a garter or are some of you ladies not wearing one?

We did not have a garter toss....but I wore my aunt's and pinned on a few momentos including a swatch of my mom's wedding dress and a piece of a scarf from my grandma.....it was amazing having the most important women in my life so close to me all night!

I dont want to do a toss but I do plan on wearing a garter. I think the toss takes up time.

I am going to do the garter toss so I will be wearing a garter. I think that if you are not doing the garter toss you do not need to wear one. Unless you are wearing it for your FH to take off at the end of the night

I dont think we are going to do that either, all of our friends are married or engaged etc... but I am DEF wearing a JETS garter!! heheheh cant WAIT!

we are not doing the toss and I am not planning on wearing one. But if you still want to wear one then go for it

We didn't do a 'toss' but DH did go up and get it! Then we had the anniversary dance, and the couple that won got the toss bouquet and the toss garter.

No toss for us but FH wants the garter pics so we are going into our room during CH with just the BP and his can take the garter off for pics

We did not have a garter toss but since my sister bought me a really beautiful garter I wore it until it started to annoy me.

I didn't do the garter, but I got one at party City for $5 for picture purposes. I didn't wear it.

I have only gotten one thing for my wedding so far... my Yankees garter with a Swarovski crystal!!!

i wore a really nice Yankee garter but we had so much stuff happening that we ended up NOT doing a garter and bo-k toss!
