Someone on here suggested on another forum for Pashmina's. I think that is what I am going to go with. It is a great idea.
Also - I am having a summer wedding with tea length dresses, I was thinking of ankle bracelets too.

Re: bridal gifts??
Some people may not like this, but the last wedding I was in the bride bought us our jewelery and paid for all of us to have our hair done. It took off alot of stress knowing that that was one less expense. We all appreciated it so much and got alot more use than maybe a monogrmaed bag, an engraved mirror, etc. I am doing the same thing for my wedding.

Re: bridal gifts??
I'm paying for most of my girls to get their make up done. One of them is a make up artist and hair stylist - she's doing my hair... she is getting an extra special gift for doing my hair and b/c I'm fairly certain she will opt to do her own hair and make up although of course I wil ask her if she wants it done by whoever will do the rest of the girls.
However, in addition to the make up thing... I'm going to host a dinner at my house in April and present them with a gift, either day of jewelry or a silver evening bag for the wedding. Believe it or not the hair salon where I get my nails done has some gorgeous jewelry.
