I ordered my dress in august and am getting married this november. They told me the dress would take 6 months to make. I recently called to find out if my dress came in and they told me that it was scheduled to come in in august. Did anyone else order thier dress this early and they were told that it would take this long? I mean I don't care because I don't need it till november and would rather it come in later I just am worried that something is wrong!

They told me 8 months but it came in in 5. Sometimes dress shops will tell you longer so that you don't come in before your first fitting. Like they can stop us. Anyway, wait like 6 months or so and call back. Be persistant.

sometimes they base delivery on your wedding date, at least i was told that. i bought mine in May 04 and it came in this Feb, so it took awhile, but it actually came early because the shop had told me March.

I ordered mine early last month and was told it would not be in until June. I'm getting married in September, so if the dress is not here by June - then I will freak!

I'm not getting married until 2006, but I ordered my gown and they said it takes 9 months. As long as they have it to me at least 8 weeks prior I won't freek out.
