Bridal Gown Color

As for me I said YES to the dress in Ivory color...I have a daughter from a previous relationship so technically I can't wear white...I did tried on a gorgeous champagne color dress but didn't actually went well with my skin completion and hair color so I said YES to the Ivory color fell in love with it

So what color are you lovely ladies picking?

I got white, even though I felt the ivory looked a little better on me

ETA: White gave more contrast with my dark hair. But I felt I would not regret white bc it is classic, esp since I ordered the gown WAY before my wedding. Also, I felt with ivory you have to match the exact ivory on accessories, shoes, FG dress, etc, wheras white is pretty much white.

one of my friends works at a bridal sa,on adn said most girls dream of their dress in white, but look bertter in ivory. i tried on both, and she said i look great in either b/c of my coloring. i am still undecided on what to get. ivory is so close its not like i will be wearing a tan gown or something like that. i like both the ivory and white. i haven't seen many dresses in champagne, so i can't really comment on that.

I’ve only looked (haven’t tried any on yet) but I’m a fan of the Ivory. If I see a white dress that I love I’d definitely get it; but just looking at some dresses in the store so far; I’ve been drawn to the Ivory ones.

The ivory does look amazing 'in my opinion' but I have to admit there are brides that look gorgeous in white

I went with Ivory since it looked best with my complexion. But the ivory looks white so it didnt really matter in the end. I dont want to look washed out in my pics.

This is a very good reason why I went with ivory too

white ivory, soft white, diamond white, they are all white just in different shades.

alot of girls can't wear the white b/c it is very bright and doesn't mesh well with their complexions so most i know go for the ivory.

my dress is ivory and actually has a ribbon sash that trails in the back of the dress (see photo album) and it is in the champagne color.

I third that. I'm very fair skinned and don't plan on tanning or using any tanning lotions for the wedding, so I wanted something that would compliment my color.

The sash on my dress is Champagne though

I'm going with white because of my blonde hair and skin tone.

Love ivory though....
