what size are u, and what size is ure gown? The sizes are crazy! i usually wear a size 12, but the bridal store told me to order a size 20. I ordered a 16 and going on a diet. hopefully it fits.

I am a 6 or 8 in dresses, and they wanted me to order a 14. I ordered a 12 because I have been losing weight and I don't want it to be huge. The sample 10 fit me pretty well, it was just a little snug, so I figure the 12 should be good.
I usually wear from a 14-16, sometimes 18...I've been trying on dresses in a 14W and apprantly that's a 20/22 in wedding dresses.
Im usually an 8 and I ordered a 10 but I have a corset back so the sizing was pretty on target.
Yeah, I normally am a size 6 and when i tried on my dress it's was a size 10 and i had to order the 12 because it was a little to snug on my a$$....
I'm a size 8/10 normally, but when I tried on my gown, size 12 was too big. I went to another bridal shop that same day (after a big lunch) and tried on the same gown, same size, and it didn't fit. Although, I wasn't wearing a longline bra the second time. It really sucked me in when I tried it on at the first store. But I still find it strange. So I don't know what I'll order. I guess I'll try the 12 again, with the bra and if that fits I'll get 12. If not, I will get 14.

I'm a 4 in normal clothes, but my dress is a 10. The size was based on my hip size...the top will definately need to be taken in.
I specifically told them that I did not want to know my measurements or what size they had to order. I didn't want to get upset about it!
I'm normally a size 2 or 4 and I had to order a size 12. It's a Vera Wang gown and the dresses seem to run extremely small. The BM dresses are also Vera Wang and my BM's had the same problem. One of my BM's is normally a size 6 and had to order a 16. I didn't care what the size was, I just wanted it to fit, which it does and I actually had it taken in a bit. But it's better to order it a size larger and not take any chances.

Remember it is much easier to take a dress in if it is big than to let it out if it is small.
