Yes, if you don't show up to your appt - they charge you a fee. I have read a lot of very bad reviews about them on the BHB board....

I am definitely NOT going to kleinfeld's, I'm scared that my poorness will shine through and they'll see me for the pauper I am and be really mean, I've heard they're snooty. I'd rather go to a cheaper bridal salon and be treated nicely AND I am checking all the complaints against them with the BBB before I shop there. I might be paranoid but I've heard way too many horror stories.

I really have not heard one bad thing about lilettes I think I might try there, I'm not ready yet though. I'm going to wait a few months.

I don't plan on going to Kleinfeld's or Bridal Reflections, I've heard much better things about Lillette's so I plan on making that my first stop....

IMO, I want my experience to be as nice and wonderful and sugary sweet as possible - and not made to feel like a 'pauper' (copyright Mike & Jess)...

I bought mine a few weeks ago at David's Bridal. It was only $550 and it doesn't look cheap at all. You could never tell the difference between my gown and a gown for thousands of dollars.

Does anyone have the adress for Lillette's?? FM please

TIA

Re: Bridal gowns

Yea i'm not really sure where David's Bridal got this reputation from, I think it's a great idea to have a huge store that carries affordable dresses and they're really nice! I looked at vera wang dresses online and I honestly was more impressed with the david's bridal styles!

I just saw the gowns you have in your album. I love the first one!!!

Re: Bridal gowns

were u talking about my album. The pink dress? I love it! You will not believe the issues I had trying to locate it. It is an almost discontinued maggie sottero dress and I found one store in bowery that has it! You should check out maggie sottero's dresses, she has her own website and she has gorgeous gowns. I know lilettes carries her dresses.
