Are any of you girls planning a bridal luncheon? Is so ...how close to the wedding are you planning on doing it???

I did a bridal luncheon but in the beginning so everyone could kind of meet. I don't plan on doing another one.

I wish I didn't have to but all my friends have done it so I feel I need to do it too...not everyone will come Im sure..I've got 9 girls one is out of state..one is upstate..and all other's have kids..so scheduling will be hard.
My Bparty is the weekend of August 15th.. Wondering if people do it after that..right before the wedding?

You take them out to lunch as a thank you for their help
Give out the schedule for the day of..stuff like that.
I thought lots of people did this..Hmmmm maybe I dont' have to do it after all!!! It would be nice to save the money!!

Since we're not having a RD, we're taking the BP out for ice cream the night before and giving out their gifts.
Is there a way you can email/snail mail anything? to save yourself time/$$

I'm doing one. I figured that I would take them to Butera's about two-three weeks before the wedding. I'm not sure about the gifts...I think I'll wait for the RD so that when the groomsmen get their gifts, the BMs get something also!

Yeah I def can but since all the other girls got everyone together and took them out for lunch I thought it was something everyone was doing now!! But....Im rethinking it now...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The only bridal luncheon I went to as a BM is when we went BM dress shopping. My MOH came with me to pick out the dress so I took her to lunch. You definitely do not need to do that with them. Why not have a nice lunch for all of them the day of your b-party?

my mom is hosting a bridal luncheon for all my BMs to get together theyre going to have pizza and watch 27 Dresses i think i'm not invited though cause theyre going to plan my shower during it

I did one in Feb. it was nice, all the girls and my mom and FMIL - it was a lunch and tea at Lady Anne's

I did one in the begining so they can all meet and get email address and all. I wont do another one. I will give their gifts at the rehersal dinner.

In May when I went with my BM's to order their dresses we went to lunch afterwards at Grand Luxe Cafe and i gave the waitress my CC when I got up to go to the bathroom because I knew my girls would never let me pay otherwise.
