Bridal Party

How many bridesmaids do you have and respectively how many guests? (I am in major decision mode today about mine.)

I have 8...not my choice...ugh...

and about 120 guests!

BM's: like 6
GM's: like 6
FG, RB

Around 250 + guests, hopefully its not plus, lol

I've decided on 5 BM and 5GM.

From reading tons of posts on here, it really does not matter how many you have. It's your day. Have the people who are important to you.

10 BMs including Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor..

Inviting around 200, hoping for 150

I know, so far for me ttoo...I want to ask another girl but that would be 9 for me and only 6 or 7 for my FH...eek...I am so all about things being symetrical!

I was hoping to keep it under 150 people, but the list is already a little higher. I SO don't want a huge wedding...I promised my family I'd keep it small and intimate...so that we can have plenty of time for all of our guests...I hope the number doesn't climb!!!!

i was a bridesmaid 4/28/07 (my profile pic) and the bp was 26 ppl---it was great though, tons of fun on the party bus with all of us

I would say dont worry about the size of your wedding to your BP..


but for me...

The list keeps growing and is probably around 350..(that is cutt down too)

yup tell me about it he has 20-something first cousins just on his dads side and alot of them are married so they'll bring their spouse that alone is about 60 ppl with just 1st cousins on dads side. Then his moms side, plus all the aunts and uncles...he has older first cousins who have kids around his age so these are 2nd cousins he is close to. Just his family alone will be about 100 guests or maybe even more

and YES they all do see eachother...i said nobody you haven't seen in years well that didn't work bc they get together for functions and family gatherings...for his grandmothers birthday not long ago we had to have it at a catering hall and ONLY family members were invited
