ok, so what sort of assignments did u give your bridal party (bridesmaids etc.) on the day of the wedding??

i didnt really give them any assignments. Just to have fun and enjoy lol.
The only time i said anything to them about what they have to do, was when we were outside our room at the RH and they were all confused as to whether they do same order as the church or different and they asked me.
Other than that nothing really. What type of assignments were you thinking of?

Besides making sure that I don't forget anything I need, I just want them to have fun! Oh yea, and there is someone that may be coming to the wedding that is a kleptomaniac...so I want them to watch him and make sure he doesn't swipe anything!

I thought they were supposed to carry our tip envelope and give them out. But thats a good question i think they are there just to look pretty...lol...

I feel like my BM's have duties but they are done leading up to the wedding... on wedding day they should just go enjoy themselves (and be on the look for anything that might be awry with your dress or your lipstick smeared on your face...LOL)
My MOH's came to look at RH's with me and went Dress shopping... those were their 'duties' if you would like to refer to them as that... its fun stuff though. Oh and they are going to help me make the favors too

Handing out tips is usually the father of the bride's job. I did it for my bf because I was a crazy organizer for her. But I wouldn't recommend giving that job to a friend. It was a drag.

I enjoyed being a bridesmaid when my job was to take pictures and have fun, and watch out for the bride and help out with special moments like the cake cutting and stuff.
I don't have bms but my friends who would have been bms- I'm asking to do little things, like check out the reception hall before I go in to make sure it is how I wanted it, one is doing my photo guest book during cocktail hour, and another is helping keep an eye on how much I eat. That's it really though...besides the pictures and fun of course!!

My MOH had to make sure we didn't leave stuff behind at the church (guest book, candle, etc). Another BM I assigned to give out rice packets with one of the GM. There really wasn't anything else for the others to do though.
