are you having your parents making an entrance into the recpetion before the bridal party? or is it just BP and you and FH?

Re: bridal party entrance
this little stuff is the hardest for me. i want to introduce FH's and my parents too, but mine are divorced and hate each other and i'm worried that if i announce my mom and her husband my dad will flip out - he already isn't coming to the rehearsal dinner because they will be there. and if i don't announce my mom w/ her husband she will be furious.

I know what you're going through. My future in-laws are divorced and FFIL is remarried. My FMIL is not a fan of his new wife. The bottom line is, it is YOUR wedding day and they need to remember it is about you, not them and their issues. Good luck!

Re: bridal party entrance
My FIL's are also divorced. My FMIL is engage and we don't know whether FFIL is married or not (strange situation, plus my FH is not very close with his dad) Anyway, I think as long as you talk to all sets of parents and discuss the situation with them and see how they feel, but remember ultimitly it is your wedding.

Re: bridal party entrance
both sides of the parents are going walk in before the bridal party. i think my FILS are going first, then my parents. i forget already the order the dj is going by. good luck with your discussion, remember it's your day, you decide who to walk in or not.

Re: bridal party entrance
think you girls have it bad?
My FH was raised by an Aunt and Uncle
His mother is married for the second time, to a man named John.
Who do I introduce as his parents actually?
hmmm.....I even had the DJ stumped when I asked for an opinion.
I know I'm going to introduce them all....but how to put it, is my problem. His aunt and uncle should really be recognized as his 'parents' , not his mom.
