Bridal Party Get-Together ?

My wedding is in five months and I am having my first bridal party get together in a few weeks. Its nothing formal...just lunch at my house for the girls to get to know each other better. Any suggestions on things to do or wedding stuff that we should go over? Anyone do anything similar to this? I was thinking of having three mini-get togethers prior to the wedding...

Also...I have seen some posts on 'scrapbook parties' what exactly is this?

well, being that it's the first, you can guys can just hang out, talk about the wedding and get to know each other?

I had one in January with my girls and we just ate, laughed, talked and had a good time. They were all meeting for the first time but it was like we all knew each other for years.

Order some pizza, talk about the wedding and just have fun

When we had our first gtg, we passed around the binder I had made of what was important to me etc. It became more of everyone chatting and my MOH throwing me out to talk about my bat. party, so don't plan tooo much on getting a lot done.

I find it easier to chat with my BM alone and fill them in on everything individually. Do they know a lot already? If they are up to date, then it might be easier to discuss the plans. Make sure you write down some things to go over, when my BMs were over I was to concerned about seating and serving food.

That sounds like a good idea. I had 3 of my four bridesmaid out to finalize the dress decision. And everyone got along. I cant have many get togethers despite my desire to, one bridesmaid lives in pa, one in italy. The other one has twin boys!!!
