Bridal Party Gifts

Bridal Party Gifts

How much is everyone plannning on spending for the gifts per person. I think I'm at about $250pp with all I was planning on doing and depending on the cost of their make-up, but I'm not sure if that's too much. I already got them earrings for their dresses, was planning on paying for their make-up to be done, a manicure/pedicure day before at the BM luncheon, and the cute little bags from J. Crew with a few things in it, like gum, mints, face blotters, etc (thank you to the bride that mentioned these bags...forget who). I have NO clue if I am going overboard (I have a tendency to do that!). Please help!
Thanks!

WOW! that is a bit more than I was planning on spending, but I guess as you go along and pick up things you think they'll love, it all adds up.

I am planning on paying for their make-up/hair also, and I am going to get them engraved bags, robes, some Bath & Body stuff. Just some cute things.

How much are you paying for your hair/makeup? I called a few people and so far only one got back to me. She is charging $100 for a trial and it'll be a/b $100/BM...that's why I think I'll end up spending a/b $250. Is your person cheaper and who is it?

You are being very generous! No hair/makeup here. And I don't plan on spending more than $50pp on gifts...I'm on a budget...I wish I could treat them to a spa or mani/pedi, you're definitely very considerate!

i'm spending about $70 on the 7 of them.

i'm getting them earrings and necklaces, a little tote bag, slippers that match their dresses and a little makeup bag.

I might get my MOH one of those new mini ipods that are $99. She's been very generous to FH and I.

Same Here!! $50-$60 a person at that is enough. They are really only paying for their dress, shoes and hair. No need to spend a fortune on them. I have been in their wedding parties and had to purchase these same items.

That is extremely generous-I haven't worked out a number yet (or what I'm going to buy them) but we are on a strict budget so it will need to be less!

But I concur with others-can i be a BM

IF FH and I had the $ we would be spending that much, but since we don't , more than likely we won't.

Wow, you are being very generous. Hey, if it fits in your budget and makes you feel good, then go for it. I wish I could spend that much but we are on a tight budget paying for the wedding and all, which leads me to the next question for all of you...what makes a nice BM gift without breaking the bank? I'm trying to be creative and at the same time buy something functional...any suggeestions
