Bridal Party Gifts

Posted this on brides helping brides but I figure I should try to get my 08 brides opinion on this.

Do couples usually give their bridal party gifts at the rehearsal dinner? Our rehearsal dinner is the night before the wedding and I wanted to give them their gifts sooner especially because part of my girls gifts are shirts i got them for to wear for my bachelorette party. Our other gifts include the girls DOJ and ties the guys will be wearing the next day so I'm wondering if they should get this stuff way sooner. I'm just worried that it might be awkward if we don't give any gifts at the rehearsal dinner.

What have other brides done?

most time BP gifts are given at the rehearsal dinner. if you want to give it before, then you should.

i'm actually not having a RD, so I'm trying to figure out when i'm giving it to my girls. i might take them out to lunch or something a few weeks before to give it to them.

Just curious, but what if you aren't having a RD???? This has been a question of mine but I never thought to post it for some reason. sorry, didnt mean to crash your post!
