A mini bride is just a very-mini version of me. No real purpose except to be cute. Most Brides just basically use a flower girl for this purpose. I, of course, have to go overboard as I am with everything in this wedding. I am now having 3 FGs, plus a mini-bride (my Goddaughter - who will be 6 at the time) She will have a dress similar to mine, and a mini bo-k like mine. She will walk with the ringbearer right after the FGs walk down w/rose petals, and before my main entrance.
She will look absolutely ADORABLE !!!!!!!

We have two young ladies on our family. My baby sister who will be 12 at the time of wedding, and his neice who will be 8. Also a young man (his nephew) who will be 5-6ish.

I was *thinking* that he would be ring bearer, the neice would be flower girl, and I would have my sister as a junior bridesmaid. Does this make sense?

I know this thread is not about this... should I post a new thread? (It just came to me to ask LOL)

I only plan on having one maid of honor and MAYBE a bridesmaid or two, not sure yet really. So, would having my sister and the maid of honor alone be wierd? or maybe I make them both maid of honor, even though she so young? ug, too many decisions and we dont even have a date set yet!

Now, to answer your question:

12 is a Perfect age for a JR. BM. I am having a very tall 10 year old who looks 12 in mine.
8 is a Perfect age for a FG, and 5-6 is a Perfect age for a Ringbearer, sounds like you have it right on TARGET !!!!!!

My suggestions(of course my suggestions mirror my Bridal Party, LOL )

Is it possible you can get a Jr. Groomsman around the same age to walk with your 12 yr old sis?
And a Mini-Bride to walk with the RingBearer, like I'm doing? I think it will be soooooo adorable.

Unless you were thinking of having the FG walk w/the RIngbearer, which many do. I'm only concerned being 2-3 years apart, there may be a considerable height difference.

What are your thoughts on this?

Well, they are the only 'little people' in the family. We are keeping the bridal party small. He will have 2-3 guys and I will have 2-3 girls (including my MOH and his BM) My sister would walk down with one of his guys (one of them is short, that might work ok, but my sis is almost as tall as me already , and she will be 2 years older and taller by then, so will probalby look 16!!!)

I think the flower girl can walk down with ring bearer.. they are brother and sister, so it would be a 'family' thing I guess. No other kids to bring in, so thats it ;-)

Oh, and btw, I am not a baby bride! My sister is significantly younger than I am, i was 17 when she was born

Oh, how sweet that your sis can walk w/ his short friend, lol, and that the FG and RB are siblings. They will be a hit !!!!!!

By the way, someone needs to teach me how to make a BP small, because I have taken it to the extreme, LOL !!!!!!

Hostess and Jr Hostesses (Hostess is my sis, will be introduced w/my Bro)
FGs, they get the glory all to themselves and their rose petals

BTW, both my Dad and Bro are walking me down the isle.
Some say I'm crazy to have a BP this big, I say I LOVE my family and friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
