Originally i was just going to have my sister as my MOH but i would like to include my best friend. The problem is we bought my sisters dress already and they don't have a size that will fit my best friend.
I was thinking about bringing my sisters dress with us as we looked for a dress for my best friend.
Since there will only be 2 of them should i forget about my sisters dress and try to find matching dresses?

Re: Bridal party problem
You can have them wear different styles in the same color and that would look nice.

Re: Bridal party problem
So wait, you don't want your sister to be the MOH anymore???
If you have them both in different dresses that is fine, they don't have to match.
Since it will only be the 2 of them, i say do whatever you want.
If they match then they will both look like just bridesmaids, if you put them in different dresses then everyone will know that one is your MOH. They are different for a reason you know?
That is just MHO.
Edit: In the same color though, but different dresses, i meant to add that =)

Re: Bridal party problem
A lot of people have their MOH in different dresses anyway....so just get her a different dress in the same color and length!

As long as they have the same color dress it won't be a problem.

Re: Bridal party problem
the dresses dont have to match....if you and your sister love the original dress then find a dress matching it for your friend

Re: Bridal party problem
They don't have to be identical - as other brides mentioned, most have the MOH wear something different than the rest of the BMs.
What are your colors? You could get a different dress but in the same color OR you could get a similar dress in a contrasting color (i.e. if you're colors are Pink and Brown and your MOH is in pink you could get the BM brown with pink accents).
Me, personally, I just picked a color and a designer and let the girls pick what ever they felt best in.

Re: Bridal party problem
Have your friend wear a different style dress. My two sisters are my maids of honor and they will most likely wear different dresses from each other and all of the other girls will wear the same 'other style' dress.
