Bridal party question

I had 2 girls that I had asked to be brides maids in my wedding but I had trouble with them both acting like jerks as if what I wanted didn't matter. Needless to say, neither one is in my wedding party now. My question is.......

Is it ok to have an uneven bridal party?

I have one of my closest friends, my daughter and FSIL. FI has his best man & 2 brother in laws as well as his dad. If it ok to have an uneven number and if so can I have his sister be escorted out by her husband (one of the BIL) and his other BIL who is in the wedding party? Or is there a better way?

I have until next year but trying to figure it out now.

Jodi

Re: Bridal party question

My friend had an uneven amount as well. What she did was have on of the ushers walk her Mother down the aisle. Then when the wedding was over he walked w/ a BM & another usher.

Re: Bridal party question

My party is uneven, my fi has 2 best men, 6 groomsman, and a ring bearer. I have a MOH, 6 bridesmaids, 2 Jr Bridesmaids, and a flowergirl. So, we'll have one more adult males than females. I don't think it matters - who makes the rule that it has to be equal. The people who are important to you that you want to be in, should be, regardless of #s!

Re: Bridal party question

My bridal party is uneven also, I will have MOH and 4 bridesmaids and he will have a BM and 5 groomsmen. I don't think it's a problem at all, we are just going to have one of the girls walk with 2 guys.

Re: Bridal party question

I am also having an uneven bridal party. I was upset about it at first, but now am getting used to the idea. There will be 4 girls (maybe 5) and 6 guys. I've seen uneven bridal parties and I think they are fine.
