What is a reasonable amount to spend on each of your bridesmaids in your wedding party for gifts? I have 6 girls in my wedding party, and I wasn't sure how much I should spend on each girl.

When I was in a bridal party I was given a necklace that I would guess was about $75. But I am sure of protocol

I have 6 girls too, including a maid and matron of honor. I am probably going to end up spending close to 100 on each. I don't know if that's the norm but it kind of stemmed from me wanting to get their DOJ plus some other useful things for the day

We spent between $75- $100 and I had 5 BMs. I spent a little more on my MOH as I got her a larger Coach wristlet. Everything else was the same though.

I think I'm spending about $150 on each and then a little extra for the MOH.

Everyone is diff. It just depends on how much ypu are able and willing to spend. Alsohow much support and help did they give you during the weddin process. I have seen ppl that go all out and some ppl just give a simple gift

I'm not sure if it's just me, but this seems like a lot of money to spend. Wouldn't that be like paying for their bridesmaid dress? If so, what would be the financial commitment on their end that everyone talks about? Sometimes they have to pitch in for a shower, but usually that is not the case.
I was thinking more like $30-$40 each but I love to shop for bargains so I would most likely get something that is worth a higher value on sale.
I decided to use our vacation points and go away with my girls to Disney. The hotel was my 'gift' to them. For the one's that can't make the trip, I will have to get them something else.

I budgeted 75 for my BM's and 150 for my MOH's. With that said if I can find deals I will not hesitate to spend less. I already bought them $95 earrings for $34!

Totally agree with this. I have an idea of what I want to get and a budget that I HAVE to stick to..but if I find what I want to get for cheaper..I would not be searching to spend more money.

I got them a personalized hanger for the day we go dress shopping for the bridesmaids gown. And I will be shopping around for some sales during Black Friday for DOJ. My budget is between $50-100, but that can change with the deals I find.

I was thinking $100, this month I found an amazing deal with Lia Sophia, and was able to get each girl a $50 necklace, it is multi stand floating pearls and b/c of the deal they had them for I paid $198 for all 7!!! Huge score in my opinion. Now all i have to do is find pearl earrings and there DOJ is complete. Also I was going to get each of them the medium sized open top bag from ll bean. they ae $25 each. If i am able to find coach wristlets then i will get them as well but again, it would have to be on a sale basis. For my MOH i am getting her a coach bag in addition to the other items. So i would say it depends on your budget and the sales you find

We did about $50 per girl. Probably a little more since I did buy them extra stuff. We are paying for everything ourselves so couldn't spend $1000 on BP gifts

Thanks girls for your advice I think I'm going to spend $100 on each girl. I was thinking tote bags, DOJ, and a vera bradley cosmetic bag and wallet.

Everyone is different! I bought the dresses for the girls and I am getting them jewelry and maybe a clutch. It will prob be about $200-250 a girl
