Anyone not doing a bridal party table? I think I am not doing one but my FMIL thinks I should really have one and thinks it is very unusual not to have one. What do you think?

Re: Bridal party table?
I'm not having a bridal party table. I'm sitting the members of the BP with their dates and the people they are closest to.
I was in a wedding last year where my FH knew nobody and we didn't sit together. It was really awkward.

No, we are not having bridal party tables. We are sitting them whereever they feel comfortable.

Re: Bridal party table?
I am not doing one. 1 because we would need at least two tables and 2 because I want my family to sit together (not all are in the BP).

We're doing this too. We are also having one BP member's brother at the table too, even though he is not in the BP. This way he'll be most comfortable.

Re: Bridal party table?
We're not doing one...I figured everyone could sit with people they know, and it would be more fun for them. I don't think it really matters as few people just sit at their table.

Re: Bridal party table?
Well we only have a MOH and BM which is my sis and his bro so we are doing a 'sibling table'. Between us our siblings and their significant others we are 9 so it's perfect.

Re: Bridal party table?
I haven't decided yet. I was just going to seat he bridal party with who I thought they would be most comfortable with, but I started to rethink that. At my FSIL wedding her parents fought over who me and my fiance were going to sit with (He was in the WP.) It was such a headache and so upsetting to both her and my FH. So I'm up in the air.

Re: Bridal party table?
We're not. The majority of the bridal party don't know anyone else/aren't friends with the others. So instead we're scattering them amongst the other guests - the ones they are actually close to and would have a better time with.

Re: Bridal party table?
We didn't, haven't seen a BP table in any of the weddings I have been to (27) as an adult.

Re: Bridal party table?
I have been to weddings where they have not done a BP table and it looks fine. I am not doing one at all. I am going to have a sweetheart table for FH and I. The BP will sit with friends (I want everyone to have a great time!)

Re: Bridal party table?
We didn't do that. We put the bridal party with their SOs. Espeically since some of the Bridal party were family and some were friends I wanted everyone at the table to feel comfortable and not feel forced to sit with each other.

Re: Bridal party table?
I was until I started looking at it....unless we dont have enough to put 10 at each table, they will likely be put elsewhere b/c neither set makes 10....of the 5 BMs, 2 are single and of the GM, one is single...so likely i won't. wanted to.
