Yesterday FH and I went to look at tuxes and we couldnt find a color match for the groomsmen vests that would match my bp dresses. They had a color that was kinda of close but not all the way.
My qustion is do the groomsmen have to coordinate with the bp? I'm scared I won't find anything that comes close enough.

we are matching the tie and keeping the vest black to match the rest of the suit. If you dont find anything to match you can always keep the tie black and give them a pop of color with the boutonniere. What are your colors?

I don't think it has to match exactly, but if you are that concerned why not do a neutral color like black, cream, or grey or something?
Our BM dresses are black but our GMs will be wearing sage green vests/ties.

They don't have to match perfectly. As long as they don't clash, that is fine. You can even go with the classic black!

i dont think you need to have the vest match- you can do a black vest and just get a tie for them that matches the dresses...

if we use Mens Warehouse then the GM's will match the BM's... if we use someone else than they wont match... its not necessary

Ours wont match exactly. We're doing red BM dresses with black vests & ties for groomsmen.

My bp dresses are a orange-pinkish color. It's called mango tango. It's a Jasmine Bridal B2. It's really hard to match. I didn't know if I didn't find anything including the tie that matched if I could just do all black for the gm.
I'll have to keep looking.

I actually kinda prefer when they don't match-- my girls were in eggplant and i was not about to make the guys wear purple vests- so we had them in silver, and matched their boutenierres to the bm bouquets.

We're not doing vests or cumber buns, just really nice ties with the tuxes.
