Does anyone know if they let you take pictures of yourself in the gowns you try on?

Re: Bridal Reflections
OMG the woman yelled at my mom and i when we tried to take photos. so my mother kept asking her to go get things we really didn't need (like a longer veil, or a hair pin, or a different dress) so she could stealthily snap photos of me. but i thought the woman was going to have a heart attack whenever she caught us!

LOL OMG that's funny that you guys had her running around like that -- I'll keep that in mind if I wanna take any pics.
You know what I realized.....some of these places carry designer dresses, so If I really wanted to take a pic of myself in the dress bc I wanted to go have it made for less money, I could really just go to the designers website and print the pic of the dress from there. I don't get why some stores get so crazy LOL!!! We try on so many dresses and forget what some look like, the pics would help us decide

i know, i totally agree! i personally think these shops have a much better shot at selling the dresses if they allow you to take photos. i've tried on dresses and thought they were 'the one' only to come home later and realize they look horrendous in the photographs!
