Re: Bridal Reflections
Hi and congrats!! All I recommend is that you go to several places.. get to know the lingo.. bring pictures and even a dig camera if you can.. once you see a dress you really like, try and negotiate.. but don't give in.. simply have them make a note of it in your file and then go to other salons, or even on the internet, not sure what you're budget is... if the price is right and you feel comfortable and confident withthe salon and service, then by all means, order order order! lol
good luck..

Re: Bridal Reflections
I would do a search on BR in particular on this site. There have been mixed opinions. I am sure all shops have mixed opinions, but you may be able to learn something from others' experience on this site.
But be sure that you look around and shop around your prices. many places will negotiate and beat a low price that you find elsewhere. You may also check out Macy's who gives a discount if you register there! then you can ask a bridal shop to beat that price! Good luck!!!!

Re: Bridal Reflections
I was there a few weeks ago and they have a tremendous amount of selection on bridal gowns!(more from any other store that I have been to) I had a great experience with them so far. They carry most of their couture designer bridal gowns at the CP location so I think that the prices here are on the higher end, however, they also have a store in Massapequa that you should also check out.

Re: Bridal Reflections
It was my first stop and I wound up going back and ordering my dress. They were very nice and helpful. I didn't have a great idea of what I wanted but they were patient and helpful and brought out alot of different dresses and were honest. They also matched the price of RK Bridal and went a little bit lower. They have been great to work with!

Re: Bridal Reflections
Bridal Reflections in CP was my second stop for my bridesmaids' dresses. We were there a long time and found dresses we loved but they pressured me to order then and there. The price was more than I wanted to ask my bridesmaids to pay. My mother has friends who recommended RK Bridal in the city who is a wholesaler or something, selling the same dresses for MUCH MUCH less. So I got the designer, all my girls' measurements, and ordered from RK Bridal. (They are online too at www.rkbridal.com.) You can call for a quote if you know the designer and model dress. At any rate, we ordered from them and saved $70 per dress! They were ready in just a few weeks. My FH and I drove in to pick them up and they look GREAT. I'd definitely recommend them if you want to save your BP a few bucks.

Re: Bridal Reflections
If you find a dress you really like - find out if there will be any trunk shows coming up (that's when the designer comes to the shop and brings all the styles of dresses). Look on the designer's website to find out or ask the store. They usually offer a pretty hefty discount at these trunk shows. I ended up finding my dress at BR, and the NEXT WEEKEND they were having a trunk show for the designer, so just by waiting til the next weekend to order, I saved so much $$!!

I got my dress and my BM dresses at Bridal Reflections in CP. I have had positive experiences so far, my dress and the girls dresses are already in. I worked w. MAddy, found her to be very helpful in finding the right style and the perfect dress. I also recommend Lillettes, they were the first salon I went to, and were wonderful there as well. Good luck!

Re: Bridal Reflections
I just bought my dress from Bridal Reflections in CP this past weekend. I had a very positive experience with the store and everyone I worked with was so nice and helpful. I went to several stores earlier in the month though to shop around. BR was the second store I had visited earlier one and fell in love with a gown. I was there for hours! I shopped some more and went back this weekend for the designer's trunk show. The earlier post is right there are HUGE savings at trunk shows. So I went back Saturday and bought it and wore it in the store for like 3 hours, I didn't want to take it off!!!! I do believe though that the CP store is more expensive that the Mass. one because they carry more couture gowns. Let me know if you need more info. As with any store you can have a good or bad experience depending on the people. Good Luck!!!
