Bridal Reflections
I know I have seen a bunch of posts about people being unhappy with the customer service at Bridal Reflections, so I just wanted to post and tell you all about what a positive experience I had there. I went to several places to look for dresses and found 'my dress' at another store, but wanted to show my FMIL and keep looking to make sure there wasn't something I loved more out there still.
So when I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, it was THE MOST stressful morning... I got there 20 minutes late for my 10:30 am appt because it was horrible out on the roads and it took me twice as long to get there as usual. When I got there the staff couldn't have been more understanding, so nice and pleasant, and my FMIL was running late because she got lost and confused... well long story short she got there almost 90 minutes late, I'm not going to get into details because it still stresses me out. I worked with Gloria, who could not have been sweeter, she took her time with me to try to stall until FMIL got there, I told her just go ahead, it's okay... eventually I tried on a dress I really liked, right as FMIL got there, and then the next dress was the same one I loved at the other store, and everyone loved it and Gloria got goosebumps lol and was like, well there's the test! I really was sure it was the dress, she wasn't pushy at all and I did end up buying my dress there! Best part was, I knew the dress was at another store for less and they took $200 off the price to match the other store's without any real effort on my part. Later that day we started our order for the bridesmaid dresses in the other part of Bridal Reflections and the manager there lowered the price on those dresses too.
The best part for me was a few days later when I went with a bridesmaid of mine to order her dress and she begged me to try on my gown, I popped into the bridal area without an appt or anything (it was a Monday night around 7:30) and Gloria was there, they let me try on the gown and laced it all up and put me in a veil and let me take pics and everything, she was saying how sorry for me she was that I was so stressed during my appointment and asked how things were going with FMIL's father (who I had mentioned was in the hospital). I had such a great time and love my dress even more every time I put it on!
So, sorry this was so long, but I really wanted to give credit where credit is due, I highly recommend BR in Massapequa (the girls in the Carle Place bridesmaid area were great too, I didn't end up going to my bridal appt there because I bought my dress) and my cousin's wife had a great experience for her bridal gown too. (Sorry I'm not putting up pics of the dress, too many people on here will be at my wedding lol and I want it to be a surprise! But it's a Maggie and I love it!)
Oh yeah, and I also booked my honeymoon on Friday... ten days in Aruba at the Hyatt, can't wait!!
