Bridal Reflections!

Bridal Reflections!

Has anyone used them for brides maid dresses and would you recommend them and which location would you recommend: Massapequa or Carle Place?

If you have not used them or would not recommend them who would you recommend?

Thanks!

I got my wedding gown there. I didn't find the girls all that helpful at the Carle Place store and always focusing on making the sale by scaring you into rush charges. Their BM dress designers are limited but well rounded with Bill Levkoff on the low end and Jim Hjelm on the high end. Loved the matte satin of Saison Blanche but they didn't carry my Clover green in that designer.

Hope that helps.

If budget is a concern, it is my understanding that the starting price point for dresses is lower at the Mass store.

I wrote about BR in my review. I loved the bridal side. I found the girls on the bm side to be a little immature. But everything came in great and they negotiated with me.

I got my dress in Carle Place and the girls dresses in Massapequa. Both were wonderful service.

I worked with Massapequa BR and while I had complaints at first, they righted every single wrong and my dress was beautiful in the end. So, I would recommend them.

I didnt use them for BM dresses but for my gown:

i called Carle Place to make an appointment and the woman asked me my budget and when i told her 1500 she said that they didnt carry too many dresses in that price range so i should go to the Mass. one. the Mass salon was very accommodating i called and got an appointment that day and it was a Saturday with a trunk show. When i went and they asked me my budget twice i said i cant go over 1500 they showed me dresses that 'were in my price range' i fell in love with one which happened to be in the trunk show so she said that it was discounted. she told me the price was 2000 my heart broke because i knew i would be able to pay that without tax alterations or anything. they said with the discount to would go to 1600 (still without tax and they charge another 500 for alterations which the woman said they don't aways go that high and they would reimburse me for what i didn't need to spend) so i said i would come back tomm i went to the designers site and called around to the other salons and there prices were much lower around 900 with tax but without alterations. the woman at BF are very nice though and they seemed to have everything under control i was there with about 5 or 6 brides and 4 mirrors and there was never a wait to get up on a pedestal. it was a really good experience it was just the price. so after my long story i would say go there and try on dresses but don't buy until you search around for a better price.

just as an fyi for other girls, their bridal alterations are capped at $250. and when shopping around you can usually not pay the sales tax. we asked about this and they told me to bring in any dress and they would ship it to a friend/family with an out of state address, therefore saving on the tax. kind of hard to explain, but i was able to save on the tax that way.

Re: Bridal Reflections!

I've gotten a bridesmaids dress at the carle place location for another wedding and they didnt measure me correctly so my dress came in way too small... although it was obnoxious and alot of extra work they were really helpful and apologetic about the whole thing. They even had to order me a completely new dress and rush the order and didnt charge me a penny for it. HTH!

I found the girls at both places to be very helpful in the bridemaid dept.

I ordered my dress and the bridesmaids are in the process of ordering theirs from CP. So far, all experiences have been positive. I hope it stays this way when everything comes in!!

My girls ordered their dresses from the Mass. store. They were very helpful and even called me to double check that all the girls got fitted.

Re: Bridal Reflections!

i just picked up a BM dress for a wedding that i'm from carle place today. they were a little on the stupid side when i placed my order (they weren't sure what size to order me and i had worn the same dress for my brother's wedding last year and had to convince them of the right size). i tried on the dress on and it fits perfectly, just needs to be taken in a little bit. i have no complaints about the place, but then again, i didn't use them for my own dresses.
