Bridal Reflections

Hello! Has anyone gone to both Bridal Reflections in NY and Carle Place? Are the selections similar? I've gone to the Massapequa location, but wasn't able to really find anything.

I've also been to Paradise Bridal, Village Bridal, Macy's, RK Bridal, Wedding Atelier in NYC, and I have an appointment with Kleinfelds in 2 weeks. I find plenty of beautiful gowns and things I like, but not 'the one' yet. I'm looking for something unique and sexy rather than princessy. I have a very hourglassy type shape and I'm really short so it has to be cut right to play up my curves without making me look short and fat. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA!!

I found my dress at BR in Massapequa, so I'm no help with the other locations. My only suggestion is when looking at dresses, go more towards mermaid or fit and flair. I'm short and all those princess dresses made me look HUGE. I ended up with a fit and flair (in my album) and it made me feel sexy and like a bride.

Try the Wedding Salon in Manhasset. They have a nice selection and many different styles to choose from.

They are similar, the city location obviously has a higher price point. Two of my gfs have both bought their dresses from Carle Place location. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

I am on the short side, it took me forever to find a mermaid that fit me right (everything flaired out too low). I got mine at bridal elegance in huntington. They had a decent selection.

I just ordered my BM dress for a friend's wedding from the one in Massapequa - their customer service was great! I haven't heard the best reviews about the one in Carle Place, but I have never been there.

My sister and my sister-in-law both got their dresses and their BM dresses from Lillettes in Baldwin - I think they have a new location now, but that's where I plan on looking first.

I went to carle place and they had my dress and my girls dresses marked up at least $100 more dollars and alterations were flat $115... Not a big fan of being ripped off

Thank you everyone! Jess, your dress is beautiful. I agree, princess dresses do nothing for my figure. DB276952 - that's just the thing. I find a lot of pretty dresses, but so many flare out too low or too high. Newlyengaged75 - Kleinfeld just took credit card info. If I miss the appointment it's a $50 charge. But I'm allowed to cancel/reschedule if necessary. I don't expect to buy anything there, but I figure they have a different selection so I may at least get an idea. I'm going to look into all the places you guys suggested, thank you!!
