I have an appt next friday..Do they pressure you to buy? I have over 18 months til the wedding and I just want to try on. But if I love it I feel I wouldnt know what size to order or what if I love a diff dress??? Ughhhh so confusing

and I also hear that they're kinda mean in there...Anyone go there

I called them first but they told me they dont have the amount of Eve of milady dresses that Carl place does...and I NEED to try on those dresses I've loved them since I was little...lol

Ahhhh okay. Then just stick to your guns. lol I was really not happy with them. They lied about a gown being part of a trunk show and pressured me into buying it 1.5 yrs before our wedding when they knew it was the first and only gown I'd seen at that point, I hadn't even tried it on, and my mother wasn't with me.

1 - the gown was NOT part of the trunk show, it was always in the store

2 - the same exact trunk show was returning several times over the following months, and they didn't have the decency to tell me that

I didn't go back, didn't want to give them the satisfaction.

Maybe i should cancel my appt...I dont want them to ruin my first try on experience. I just dont know where else to find eve of milady grrrrrr

Totally go see them there - once you narrow it down to what you love, Massapequa will bring gowns to their store for you to see there. I'm thinking though they don't want to move the entire line for you haha

Oh also - it looks like Lillette's carries them! I've never been, but some girls on here have had good experiences.

I purchased my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and they were not mean at all! They did not pressure me to buy anything...i went there at least 4 times to try on dresses before purchasing my dress..i even went in and only wanted to try on certain dresses and made sure they got them from other stores...they were VERY helpful and VERY accommodating ..and not once did me, mom or sisters, ever get the impression that they were pressuring us into buying anything

I went there and did not feel any pressure to buy at all. They were actually veyyyyyyyy late and very behind on appointments so I was waiting for almost an hr there . I ended up doing my appointment with the manager there and she was very sweet

i got my dress from there.....i fell in love w/ my dress right away so i did buy it that day, but they are very helpful....everytime I want them to pull my dress out and try it on

I also got my dress from there and was not pressured either. i worked with a very sweet older lady. It did happen to be the first and only store i went to but when u know u know.

i was wondering too about them i plan on going there!! i hope they are niceee that was gnna be the first place i checked so hopefully it goes well!!

I went there too just to see their eve of milady bc massapequa didn't have any and they were great there and didn't pressure me at all. I then happened to go to village bridal in babylon and they had a ton more and were sooo laid back! HTH

I felt pressured there. maybe it was just the person i was dealing with
