Bridal Reflections; Carle Place vs. Massapequa?

Hi ladies!

Trying to start figuring out where to take my girls shopping for bridesmaid dresses. Does anyone know the difference between the Carle Place and Massapequa Bridal Reflections salons? They look like they have tons of designers there. Any feedback?!

many people have negative things to say about carle place, but when I went with my mom to look for a MOB dress we had a great experience and thought the girls were very nice. There were a ton of BM dresses as well.

I went to both and had a nice experience at both locations. I ended up getting the dresses in Carle Place as it was more convenient.

I'd definitely recommend Massapequa over Carle Place, when we went for my sister's wedding to Carle Place the dresses were dirty and our assistant had us doing everything. At Massapequa they have a much wider selection and at incredibly attentive.

I used both and different points in the planning process and had great experiences at both. I can't say I found one better than the other althought Carle Place was super accomodating for my fitting schedule (out of state bride) and their seamstress was phenominal. A couple of bridesmaids that had their alterations done at Massapequa were not as happy.

I used Massapequa for myself and my bridesmaids and Carle Place for the MOB dress and was happy with both. They do have different dresses at the different salons, so it may be worthwhile to check out both. According to the website, they carry different price ranges. (Massapequa Salon: $1,500 to $6,000, Carle Place | Westbury Salon: $2,000 to $10,000, Fifth Avenue | New York City Salon: $3,000 to over $10,000)

Massapequa was awesome. Great service, great dresses, just all around great experience. Carle Place left a LOT to be desired. Mostly, the trains on the dresses were just filthy! And the irony is that the actual distinction between the two is that Carle Place has the more higher end lines.

I was running late to my appt at the Massapequa location and it was close to closing time. They were still helpful and accommodating. I did rush myself to get through quite a few dresses because I knew they were closing soon but my consultant never rushed me. There were actually a 2-3 dresses that I really liked and I plan on returning so I can really give myself enough time to think

Both locations have dresses that have different price points so I would start by looking at your budget. I went to massapequa and was truly happy with my experience there!!

I went to Massapequa for my dress and my mom's dress and we had great experiences both times. We went back twice for my mother and the service was very good.
