Bridal reflections in Massapequa???

i stopped in today and they happend to have time to help me because of a no show. the woman gloria who helped me was very informative and showed me two beautiful dresses i loved, but she seemed a bit overbearing. i was wondering what experiences any of you have had with this place.
also, where else should i go?

I loved BR-I worked with Kelly who was awesome. She was soo patient and didnt pressure me at all.
I went to a ton of places and the only other place I liked was Kleinfeld. I had absolutely miserable experiences at Bonaventure, Princess Bridals, RK Bridal, FLowerama, Iman and Bridal Couture<--The WORST! Lillette's was nice but the place just kinda turned me off. Maybe it was the wood paneling. They have a pretty limited selection, too. Good luck!

Overbearing is a good word to describe my experience there. Plus, all they would show me were dresses that were completely out of my price range.

I checked all over for gowns. Couldnt find mine for months. I too had an overbearing experience where all they showed me was gowns WAY out of my price range. Finally found MY gown at Fantasia Bridal Center, Rocky Point. I deal with Stefanie... SHE'S THE BEST!!! Not too pushy, honest, suggestive and informational. HATED both Bridal suites (patchogue and Centereach), Bad experience at Davids Bridal too. Good Luck!!!

i did not find my experience there to be overbearing. i worked with roseann and she was so accomodating. i had found a dress that i loved at another store and i wanted to try it on at BR, but they did not have it. they said they would call the designer and get a sample foe me. as it turned out, the next day she called me and said she received permission from a bride, who had the same dress cleaned, to try it on. i thought that was super nice of them to do that for me. ultimately, i ended up buying a different dress from them. i really liked the service that i got there.

I went there to look for a MOH dress, and they were awful! My MOH is not small girl, and they had her convinced she can wear a dress from Jim Heljm and still look good becuase they will take the dress apart and make it fit. I was so angry, not only would it have looked absurd, but they wanted to make money , the dress started at 250.00 before alterations, and pulling it apart. We ended up at The Wedding Plaza in Baldwin, and the sales help was wonderful, and very accomdatating. Another good place to look for BM or wedding dresses is The Bridal Garden in Bethpage.

I bought my dress from gloria. She did not force anything on me, and actually convinced me to go with the less expensive dress. I also went back 4 times before I decided to go with the dress. I just started my fittings and the alterations are less than the cap.

Whe I wnet there the woman who helped me seemed very pretentious. I guess that just depends on who you get b/c evveryone else seemed very nice.

Re: Bridal reflections in Massapequa???

i had a bad experience there. they lied to me and said they had a particular dress in their store, but when i went for my appointment they said, 'oh, we don't actually have that dress here...' but we can contact the designer and for a non-refundable $75 you can come in and try it on if/when we get it in.... i tried on a few dresses that weren't even close to the style i liked and i left. i felt tricked and i felt like they didn't listen.....
