Did anyone get their dress here? I'm specifically curious about alterations and if they're a good place to go. I'm deciding between there and Kleinfelds. Thanks!

i went there for my sister, she wound up buying at a different location because the people there are nasty and not willing to help

I didn't go to Bridal Reflections for my dress but have purchased a bridesmaid dress there. The workers are rude and could care less about you. There are so many other bridal shops that give you the personalized experience. I'd avoid this one!

Last time i was there was probably 4 years ago and I guess we got lucky and gotten a nice girl for my friend wedding but they cut our time short or maybe we only get like 45 min to try on dresses which i think is short cuz by the time u get them on and off ur pretty much done lol

I was just there this past Sunday and had a great experience, ended up buying my dress! I was there for almost 3 hours and was never rushed, and i was having a hard time figuring out what style i wanted but my consultant was very helpful with helping me. I know about 5 people that got their dress there and had wonderful experiences. I guess it depends on who your consultant is.

I had a great experience there as well(I was surprised after reading all their reviews) but my consultant was great. I didn't wind up getting my dress from there but I would have it they had had it!

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences! I actually went to Bridal Reflections a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience -- the woman was great, we weren't rushed and spent 2 hours there. The only problem was they didn't have a sample of a specific dress I wanted to try on.

My mom and I went to Kleinfeld's yesterday to try on that dress and it turned out to be THE ONE. Really excited!!! But now I'm worried about whether I should order it from Kleinfeld/do my fittings there or have the woman at Bridal Reflections who said she could order the dress for me if I wanted it and do my fittings there. My mom thinks maybe Kleinfelds, because of its reputation and experience, might be better at the alterations. However, I currently live in Rhode Island and would have to come down to get the fittings done so going to Massapequa -- where my family lives -- would probably be easier. Anyone know which place might be better for alternations (or if it doesn't really matter)??

I know that kleinfleds has a very high fee for alterations ( i wanna say like 750-800). You could always buy the dress at kleinfelds and then bring it home to RI and have it altered by you

Doing it in RI would of course be ideal but I've only been looking on Long Island so I don't know of any good bridal salons up here =/

I was quoted $795 as a flat rate for alterations --is that usually a lower cost elsewhere?

To give you an idea I got my dress at Bridal Suite of Centereach and I believe the alterations cap is around $275-$300? And the bustle cap is around $200 or less? I don't remember the exact costs I don't have the paperwork in front of me

I got my dress there and they were great. I didn't want to have to search a million stores for a dress and I knew what i wanted. I told them i did not want a strapless dress at all and the lady I worked with was very accommodating. I tried on maybe 20 dresses before I found mine - which I never would have picked out myself! The only thing I found frustrating about the process was having a limited number of dresses to choose from because it seems like EVERY SINGLE DRESS is strapless. I wasn't interested in having sleeves added, either.

BTW, I went to BR in Massapequa because 4-5 friends of mine got their dresses there. My MIL is also going there for her dress!

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Bridal Reflections Massapequa. To the point where they could be on shame shame shame. They lied to me about ordering a bridesmaid dress, that was never ever ordered and had notes in the computer to lie to me. It was insane, I got no where with them paying for what they put me through the week of my wedding. I would stay FAR away from them, terrible customer service.. this is specifically for bridesmaid dresses

That seems high for alteration costs. My bridal
Shop only charges for a hem and bustle and it's less than $300.

That's really high! I paid 325 at Elena bridal for all alterations and a french bustle
