Has anyone used them for their gown or bridemaid dress and if so any comments?

I'm using the one in Carle Place and they have been very nice HOWEVER they are overpriced and you can talk them down in price. If you see a dress you like, shop around and see if you can get it cheaper- then tell Bridal Reflections to match it and they will. Buit so far they have been great!

I used them and be firm about your price range - they showed me a dress out of my range that I fell in love with.
The service was good as were the alterations but the scheduling is not really convenient and the girls at the front are not the nicest.
My sister got her gown there and the seamstress did an amazing job on the alterations!!

I heard the same thing as merf. BR gave me a high price for the bridesmaid dress that I liked. I recently found it cheaper...someone advised me to go back to them and tell them the price i was offered. I was told that they usually meet that price.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa
i ordered my dress from BR and when i went in a few months later to try on the sample again, i had lost about 20 pounds! They decided that it would be easier to order a whole new dress and make my original dress that was ordered a new sample. I thought that was very accomodating! So right now I have 2 dresses and was only charged for one!

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa
I've gotten several bridesmaid dresses there from my days as a single gal. Like many other stores, they try to put you in a bigger size than you need. The last time I was there, I insisted on ordering the sample size which fit, the girl helping gave me a 'tude and wrote in big caps 'bridesmaid requested size' and had me sign it!! P.S. the dress came in and all I need were a pair of cups!! Too many stores try to hit you up for uneccessary fees, it's not just them. On the positive side, they do have a nice selection, usually the better dresses/styles.

Besides meeting prices in most cases, I hear very good things about the service, while so many are complaining about dress shops, they maintain a good rep for service and good attitude.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa
I ordered my dress in Massapequa a few weeks ago. I already got a card congratulating me on the purchase of my gown and they sent me a generously sized swatch from the designer. I was also able to get $400 off the price (I tried for more but I think I was dealing a stubborn woman. Had I ordered from the first person who helped me instead of the second, I probably could have gotten more off)

I also ordered my dress from BR in Massapequa. I have had only positive experiences so far. The salon is very nice, and they have a good selection of designer dresses. They were very helpful in locating a particular Lazaro for me, and borrowed the sample for me to try on. They are a bit more expensive though. I was able to negotiate, but not with much. I would say they are worth the visit.

Thanks so much for the responses. I was there last week and found a dress I liked and I did negotiate w/ the price and after hearing good things I think I might order it tonight.

I am using BR in Massapequa and I have nothing but wonderful things to say!!! They are very accomodating. My Mother had an issue with the dress she ordered and BR did a fantastic job taking care of the situation.... (The problem was not due to them it was the manufacturer of the dress.)

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa
I ordered my dress with them back in May and then found another dress I liked in August and called to see if they could get the new dress for me to try out and then cancel the original if I liked the new one. Well the manager at Mass. had called CP store while I was on the phone to check if they had the new dress and then had them bring it to the Mass. store the next day so I could settle my mind right away. The salespeople were very patient with me when I came in and let me try on both dresses several times with my headpiece and veil. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that they have been great!
