I ordered my Maggie Sottero gown (the Dynasty) from Bridal Reflections at the end of December. I was just on the Maggie Sottero website, and I noticed that Bridal Reflections is not an authorized dealer. I thought that they were, and now Im concerned that they are no longer, and for what reason?
Does anyone know anything about this and am I worrying about nothing? I remember reading on here that someone got their Maggie dress in but it was cheaper fabric and the beading was not as elaborate. If I'm going to be paying designer prices, I want the designer gown, not a knock off!! Can someone please let me know whats up and put my mind at ease?! Thanks!!

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
I would contact Maggie Sottero directly to find out. I'm sure they don't want stores selling knock-offs or lesser quality dresses in their name.
PS...I just ordered my Maggie from Bridesave. I'm getting Daniella.

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
I just received my Maggie (Sarchi) from Bridesave.com yesterday and it came with a certificate of authenticity from Maggie Sottero.
So maybe you could call BR and ask if you receive one with the dress ...

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
I was the one who posted about the dress at Bridal Reflections. I am going to call Maggie and see if Bridal Reflections is an authorized dealer. My FSIL has gotten any real answers. BR said they were going to have her dress re-made and it would be ready in a month or two. MY FMIL was going to try and contact Maggie directly to tell them what happened, but I don't think she got anywhere. I will let you know if I find anything out.

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
I e-mailed 'Dear Maggie' on the website, and I'm still waiting for the response. Its good to know that real Maggie gowns come with a COA. That'll help. I just want to know now what to expect so if there are any problems, I can take care of them now!

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
I sent an email to the Maggie site and I got an automatic email back saying that due to the volume of emails, I would get a response in 5-7 business days!!! yeah - I wonder how that would go over if I left that on my voicemail at work!!!
Seriously - I am nervous - but too chicken to call BR.

hmmmm, i didn't even get that automated response. Maybe I'll call BR and ask if the gowns come with a certificate of authenticity. if they say something like they never heard of such a thing, or that maggie doesn't do that, i'll know they're full of it.

Just to confirm - did you get the dress in Massapequa or Carle Place? FH is telling me to call but I am scared - why I don't know - I just hate this kind of sh**!! Also - I feel like they're just going to give me the run around anyway.

So Nancy - are we going to call or what?? At least you have time until the wedding! Mine is 6 months away!!! And FH is scaring me b/c he's saying - you need to call and if you do and they are being shady you need to cancel the $$ on your credit card and order it somewhere else - but I am scared that I am too short on time!

Michal: I will call tomorrow. I won't be able to until about 4:30 your time (1:30 my time, and my lunch break). Should I just ask them if it comes with a COA? Should I maybe ask if they're an authorized retailer? I'm not even going to mention that I ordered my gown there.
So your FH is named Jamie? Mine is named Jaime. Funny!

Hey! Where are you with a 3 hour time difference?? Maube I'll get up my nerve to call tomorrow too! I think I would just come out and say that I ordered it there and now they're not authorized dealers and what does that mean, etc. Let's keepeach other posted!

Re: Bridal Reflections/ Maggie Sottero Brides
Although I did not get a Maggie gown, I saw these posts and I also got worried. ( I ordered my gown from them recently). I went to the BR today to look at veils and I asked the manager (Rozlyn) if they were authorized retailers. She said yes and said she received a call about the non - listing on Saturday. She is going to call them Monday. She showed me a certificate and it looks like a diploma. It is probably an oversite. I hope this is a little piece of mind white you wait!
