My shower is on Sunday and I have definately notcied that some gifts have been coming off of my registry but there are definately not a lot purchased. We have about 50 ppl coming. Did this happen to any one else? DO you think mb ppl are either buying non registry gifts or ppl haven't shopped yet or mb the shop has not scanned the gifts off ???

a lot of people go out the day before or even the morning of the shower to buy gifts. i wouldnt stress it, it is also possible that some people forgot to have it taken off, but if that is the case, any duplicates you get you can always bring back and get something else instead! have fun at the shower!

Lots of people shopped last minute and even the day of. You will probably also get some non registry items and gift cards. I also received some items that were regifted. (hopefully you don't).

This happened to me too. There were 55 ladies at my shower this past Sunday. And a lot of them decided not to buy off of the registry...but I got about $1000 worth of gift cards from those who didn't buy off the registry!! Now I can get what I want!! Don't worry, either way, you will be fine!

I have been stalking my registry since my invites went out for my shower (not a surprise) and slowly things are coming off, but nothing major for me either- we are having around 75 people attend. It's a pain, but like many have said, people don't buy the gifts until right before.

You should see a DRAMATIC increase of things being bought around Thursday until right until your shower. RELAX it's a blast and it's so fun to see who got you what! Some people really suprised me

My shower is about 2 1/2 weeks away and I checked out my registery, most of my kitchen stuff is still on. I was totally stressing it until I read these posts. I guess most people don't really shop right away.

I only peeked once a couple of days before the shower & I got a lot more at the shower than had come off the registry when I peeked. I know of at least 4 guests who stopped at the store on the way to the shower.

People tend to go the day before or even the morning of. It could also mean that people maybe purchasing gift cards for the stores that you registered in.
