Bridal Registry

Just wondering when I should start doing one. My maid of honor will probably throw me a shower sometime next year, maybe late summer early Fall.

You have plenty of time to do a registry. If you start one too early you would have to keep checking to make sure that all your items are still available.

Hi RH twin!

I started a basic one, at the request of family (I have already received Christmas gifts off of our registry). I plan on adding to it as we get closer.

we started one b/c we had an engagement party & everyone kept asking where we were registered so we just added on to the ones that existed already

Are you having an engagement party? You should register before if you are.

If not, i would register about 6 months before.

I'm going to enjoy the holidays and then work on my registry - no need to stress yourself out more. And it's true, after the holidays, inventory changes. You're going to have to edit your registry a few times with the change of season (depending on the store - I used to work for C&B and when the seasonal stuff is gone, it's gone).
