Bridal Registry Question..

How do you let people know where you are registered? Does this just go on a bridal shower invitation? We didn't send out engagement annoucements so I couldn't be done there. Thanks for your responses.

If you want the offical etiquette ruling then word of mouth is the only way that people should find out where you are registered. Nothing should be written on an invitation or put inside an invite.
BUT it has become the norm to put those little cards that the places give you inside the shower invite ONLY. Never in an e-party, e-annoucement or wedding invite.

Funny thng is my sister forgot to include my registry info in my shower invite so she did the 'proper' thing by accident

ask the store you registered at to give you those little registry cards that are to be included in your shower invite...everyone does it nowadays so don't worry too much about the etiquette..

All the showers that I have been invited to always contained the little cards or it was handwritten where the bride was registered.

I think it should be word of mouth. When we got engaged the people who wanted to get us gifts asked me or my mom or my friends where we are registered.
