Bridal Salon HELP!!!

I need bridal salon advice:

I personally hate David's Bridal and do not want to go there.

I love Bridal Reflections in Carle Place however, they claim their dresses start at $1,800. Many other places I have called say the same thing.

Where in Nassau or Manhattan or Queens can I find a nice bridal salon that has quality wedding gowns for under $1000?

Any suggestions for me?

Bridal World in Baldwin has really good prices, great customer service and lots of selection. They do not rush you even on the weekends which was great.

All the dress they showed me were in the $800-1000 range even though my budget was higher than that

i know there have been mixed reviews on RK Bridal but i had an excellent experience with them. Although, i have not purchased my dress yet, i plan to go back to them to get my gown. The person who helped me understood my vision and found me a dress for $1300- no alterations included. Though this might be a bit out of your budget, i found a ton of gowns WAY cheaper... they also have a sale section that had great dresses.

Helen's Bridal in Commack. It's located in the wedding center at 50 Austin blvd but worth the trip. It is small but Liz is so great to work with. I just went there Saturday to see my dress and she was so sweet and helpful. Got my Maggie Sottero there for $835. They always have a $100 coupon and great sales. Definitely worth a try....

Lilettels - Baldwin
There is also a bridal shop in Lynbrook (not lynbrook bridal) another one

In Suffolk I recommend Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point.

There is also Burtons in Melville

I second Paradise Bridal and add Village Bridal in Babylon. Also there's RK Bridal in the city, Kelly's Kreations in Brooklyn.

Paradise Bridal was pretty good for me. The only thing I didn't like was they wouldn't tell me the designers of the dresses but I think that goes for a lot of places.

Which still annoys me.

Your dress could cost more than a used car - but would you buy a car if you didn't know what type it was so you could shop around? BAH!

Paradise Bridal in Patchogue- Very helpful and a good variety to choose from. Dresses range 800-1000.

I second Paradise Bridal! They have a room for gowns over $1000, and a room for gowns under $1000. Great selection, and the staff is super helpful!!
