I don't drive out there very often, which is why I am asking. Thank you.

I would suggest leaving super early - it could take you a while at that time of day. Not sure what time your appointment is though. You'll be fine as long as you give yourself enough time to get there.

you should be fine for two years i commuted from long island to Dobbs Ferry. As long as it doesnt rain you should be fine, it took me approximately an our and a half to get to and from. Just make sure that you have good directions, plus once you get off the Cross Island you are basically in Manhassett. Best of luck

There will be a little traffic, but it will be well worth the trip. There's another place you also should check out close to you, in Bronxville, called House of Boticelli that has a lot of the same gowns that Wedding Salon has.

I had a WONDERFUL experience there. Their dresses are anywhere from 1500-20k, but most of the dresses I looked at were between 3-5k. Ask for Mary or Rosemary, they were both wonderful. EVERY dress looked good on me... it was such a self-esteem booster... LOL.

The southbound bridges (Whitestone, Throggs Neck) could get very crowded at the afternoon rushhour so definitely leave room. I'd leave 2 hours, but then again I am neurotic about time! I'd also bring the phone number of the salon with you so you could give them a courtesy phone call if you are late. I'm sure they'd really appreciate that! They are super nice there and so professional and it was like they personally knew each designer when they talked about what changes could be made, etc. AMAZING experience there; you will be pampered, and will be able to chill after the long drive! Totally worth it!
