Bridal Salon options

Hi Ladies! I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations on good bridal salons in the Nassau/Queens county area. I'm absolutely terrified of this whole gown shopping process and I'm also a curvy girl so I want a place with nice bridal consultants as well as a nice collection of gowns. I've been to David's Bridal in Westbury and I hated it. I didn't like the dresses or the consultants. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :) .....(words of encouragement would be nice too lol) Thanks!

Alexandra Boutique. It's in forest hills on austin street. And I had a nice experience at Bridal World in Baldwin.

I bought my dress from Alexandra

As a curvy girl who has bought 3 dress's now, yes THREE.. I can tell you I had a nice experience at Bridal world in Baldwin. My consultants name was sherri. They have a range of sizes. My advice is to go to a bunch of places, and even if you love a dress go home and sleep on it. Good luck!

Priscilla of Boston in Manhasset or the Wedding Salon in Manhasset.

I think it depends on your budget for where you want to go. Village Bridal had a good selection and so did Lillettes, but I suggest going to Lilettes when it's not as busy. I didn't have a great experience when I went and I think it was timing. I found my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They start lower in prices than the Carle Place store. They were the BEST by far in really listening and helping you find the perfect one!
