lets say you go to get a wedding dress ,and you're NEVER MEASURED at all...not one measurement of one part of your body....(because u happen to fit in the sample size)
and the saleslady forces you into getting a petite because she INSISTS it will be perfect length and save you a hem.....
and then its too short!!!!
IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY THAT IT IS NOTT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BRIDAL SALON TO RECTIFY THAT??
this hasnt happened yet, but im anticipating it to possibly happen, and i jus want to make sure i havent lost my marbles thinking it would be the bridal salons fault and not mine!
were all of you measured? like u have measurements of ur body on ur order form? cuz i wasnt n now im thinking that was the first thing wrong...

I bought the actual sample they showed me and they still measured me...if I were ordering a gown I'd INSIST on it.

I was measured, but then again I had to be because the store where I ordered my gown didn't even have the sample.
They DEFINITELY should've measured you.

you should have been measured no matter what. if the dress doesn't fit you correctly you need to fight that. that's a load of crap. someone wasn't doing their job right. i hope you have a witness to back you up just in case, they try to make it look like you are in the wrong.

I fit perfectly into the sample, but I was measured and then signed a statement that I was measured and those were my measurements at the time

oh yeah we def. will!!!
dress is due in i think end of next week......so if its too short, i will make sure the owner knows that i was not measured and it was his salesladys firm suggestion i buy the petite....my mom was with me both times she had me try the dress on and both times she kept insisting petite....
and iwas not measured so that too...
if they dont help me out, im jus gonna go somewhere else for the dress...mom said she'll eat the deposit, pay for the dress again elsewhere....wait til i get my BMs dresses (cuz its from the same place, so they dont screw up my BMs dresses on purpose) and THEN take them to court....
im just keeping my fingers crossed it doesnt come to that, and for some ODD reason the petite does fit

I was measured even though the sample size fit me just to be sure because I was sort of in between sizes. Not sure if the measurements are in my receipt. Don't make yourself crazy yet. Majority of these women that work in the bridal salons know their gowns.

the reason why im freaking is this.....
Shauna (soontobecruz) and i are dress twins, from the same bridal salon....we both tried on the same sample.....she fit in it perfectly and so did i....SHE was measured, i was not.....we both ordered petite....hers just came in and the length is perfect!!!!! she is 5'3' wearing 3 inch heels.....
i am 5'7'!!!!!!!!!!!! and tried the dress on w/ 3' heels when she insisted on the petite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
