Bridal Salons

Bridal Salons

I found 2 dresses I love and I cant decide which one I like more. Ofcourse, I have not found a bridal salon that carries both of them. The designers were Demetrios and Paloma Blanca. One of them I found at Macys Bridal in Manhasset and the other I found at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. Any opinions about either of these places would be greatly appreciated. I also went to Commack Wedding Center. They were so nice and helpful and said they would order either one of them for me and they were both cheaper there. I am just so confused with the mixed opinions with all of these places. Any input would help. Thanks guys

I was in a similar situation. I found 2 dresses that I loved and didn't know which one I wanted. When I want back a second time to try them one I realized that I really loved one more then the other. I also brought my mom with me and she agreed that one was 'more me' then the other. As for as salons go... I know that Lillettes in Baldwin carries Demetrios dresses. I got a bridesmaids dress from Bridal Reflections. They were very nice and helpful, although they did order one dress in the wrong size and gave that BM a hard time about it. They finally corrected the mistake. For my wedding we ordered the BM dresses from the Commack Wedding Center. They gave us the cheapest price on the gown that I picked. The only problem was (and many people on this board have had the same complaint) was that the girls there are very rude and obnoxious. Two of my girls said that they made nasty remarks to them when they went to pick up the dress. And when I went to pick up my jr. BM dress the girl made a very nasty remark about the woman who she was helping before me when the women walked away. I thought that was extremely unprofessional. All my BM's chose not to have their alterations done there b/c of this problem. But they did give us the cheapest price.

I got my dress and my BM dresses from Commack Wedding center. I also ordered a Demetrios dress and they were almost $600 cheaper than anywhere else I went. It also came in much earlier than expecxted. I thought they were very nice and you just can not go there on Saturday and expect goos service.. It is a mad house then,,,

I used Bridal Suite of Centereach- Debbie is great.
I have heard that they do NOT store your dress at Commack Wedding Center- which means you have to keep it at home. That is not the easiest thing to do without lots of room, plus you have to bring it back and forth for fittings. I don't think that policy is very good. But the gowns are a lot cheaper.

Lillette's in Baldwin carries Paloma Blanca too. I tried on a couple there.

I ordered my dress from Paradise Bridals in Patchogue (even though they didn't carry my dress there) - they matched the price I got from Commack Wedding Center, and are a much more reputable place.

I dealt with Donna and had a great experience. My alterations were perfect too. Good luck.

(I found my dress at Bridal Reflections but saved hundreds ordering it elsewhere)

Bridal Reflections - Massapequa

I got my dress and my bridesmaid dresses at bridal reflections in massapequa. I thought their service was professional and very helpful (and very very patient since I tried on the same two dresses over and over and over before deciding). They were able to match a lower price that I had found at another store ($500 less). My dresses all came in much earlier than expected too! I havent gone for fittings yet, but they will hold the dresses for me as long as I need them to. Good luck!
