Bridal Salons

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bridal salon? I have been to six, and so far I have found one that I love out of 60 dresses!

I'm looking for a dress that is very simple, not poofy, and not too heavy. A few stores that I have been to, the consultant did not listen to what I was trying to explain.

Any recommendations would help!! I am in central Nassau but will travel anywhere!

I have loved my Village Bridal in Babylon experience so far. I thought their selection was great, especially since I'm a plus size, and the staff has been really nice to me.

They're definitely better if you go during the day and not in the evening... experience is totally different.

Bridal World in baldwin was very helpful. Go to Janine..she is a sweetheart and really tries to help you figure out what you are looking for. That was my first stop and I explained what I wanted or parts of dresses I liked, and kept pulling out different ones for me to try. I didn't end up getting my dress there, I got it from a boutique in Fores Hills queens called Alexandra Boutique. Very helpful as well, and nice selection of gowns.
