Does anyone have any experience ordering and alterations with the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore or Helen's Private Collection in Commack? I am considering ordering my dress from one of these two places but would just like some opinions from anyone who has had experience working with either one of them? Thank you!
I've heard the bridal suite in bayshore is phenomenal in alterations. But I haven't personally had something altered. I shopped there for my dress before I found the one.
Ordering was easy with Bay Shore. I just got my measurements taken while I was there and then called my order in a little later and it only took a few minutes on the phone. Deposit was either 50 or 60% I forget. Alterations are capped at a very reasonable price and they have a really good alterations department upstairs! Obviously I haven't had my dress altered yet so can't tell ya how good they are ;) We are also going to be using Bay Shore for BM dresses, they said they'll work with us on a discount since I got my dress through them.
I haven't personally used either, but Bridal Suite of Centereach I have. They were great, reasonable and timely. A co-worker of mine just used Helen's of Commack and she was very pleased with the way her MOG dress came out.
