I am going wedding dress shopping on Saturday (in Nassua county mainly) and just wanted some suggestions from you guys on some good shops to hit, with wide varities and resonable prices.
In paticular that carry Mori Lee or St Patrick.
If you have any good shops in queens or brooklyn and Manhattan, I will be hitting them on a later date, so you can post them too
Thanks a bunch. kimberly

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
I'm starting my dress-hunting this week too!
I'm going to Lillette's (Baldwin) on Thursday and Bonaventure (Garden City), Bridal Garden (Bethpage) and Bridal Reflections (Massapequa) on the following Saturday.
I'm bound to find a dress at one of these places!
Good luck with your search.

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
Thanks Karen I actually have been to Bonadventure, they were really nice, but a bit pricey for me. I wasnt thinking of going to Bridal reflections for the same reason.
I may try the other 2, thanks
I went on the St Patricks website and it listed these salons anyone have any feedback on them, are they worth it? (I know nothing about any of them)
Kay-Ann Bridal Shoppe (Franklin Sq) Belle Bie Bridal (Lynbrook) Beautiful Bride (Lynbook) Elena Bridal (Merrick) Moonlight Couture (Merrick)
Thanks Kimberly

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
I've seen Kay-Ann Bridal at a couple of bridal expos I went to. If I hadn't found my dress on my first shot, I would have looked there. It's located right across from the Sand Castle.

If Kay Ann is across from Sand Castles, it is also on the way to my hall Stewart Manor, I am definitely going to go there, Just made a 10:30 am appointment.

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
I found my gown, as well as MOB and BM dresses at Elegant Bride in Albertson. They have a decent selection (it's a small shop, not a huge warehouse) but the service is friendly and they have beautiful gowns.

It sounds like you're mostly interested in the South SHore, but if you feel like checking out the north shore, the Priscilla of Boston salon in Roslyn Heights is right off the expressway and is one of, if not THE, classiest place I looked at.

I think you and I were talking on another thread a while ago about it...I'm not on the board often enough to know everyone as well as some of you seem to. I can see how it can get addicting!

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
I bought my dress at Lynbrook Bridal on Sunrise. The had what i wanted and i knew it was the one! It can get pretty busy there though, so beware...The prices were very reasonable, so it was worth it to me to buy there. Good luck!

Re: Bridal Salons in Nassau
Marnles - do you have the # and address for Lynbrook bridal. I did call a salon on Sunrise but the name I have is THe Bridal Center (416 Sunrise Hgwy, Lynbrook?) I dont know if it is the same one. They told me I dont need a appointment.
