Bridal Salons that let you take pictures?

I am finding that all but one of the salons that I have gone to to try on dresses won't let pictures be taken.

Are there any salons that you have gone to that let you take pictures as you are trying on? I really want to be able to see what the dress looks like other than in the mirror.

Any help is appreciated!

David's Bridal allowed me to take pictures and Bridal Suite of Bay Shore (where I ended up getting my dress from) also allowed me to take pictures! Hope this helps!

Every place I went to allowed for pictures- Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, Helens Bridal, Bridal suite of Bayshore, Bridal Elegance, Bridal Suite of Centereach & Fantasia Bridal

Thanks for your response ladies. So weird, I have been to a few places you listed and they wouldn't allow my mom to take pics of me in the dresses. Maybe it depends on who is helping you and how busy the salon is as the time.

That happened to me as well. My girlfriend actually had to sneak a quick pic, however when I found the dress, it was an utter photo shoot. Lol

I only went three places and they were already mentioned (David's, Fantasia and Bridal Suite of Centereach). If taking pictures is important to you, fight for it or find a different place to try on dresses that you think you might be interested in. I have pictures of every dress I tried on. There were many dresses I tried on and when I saw in a picture I was like woah what was I thinking... And a couple that I loved when I saw a picture of myself in it.. So many pictures will be taken on the big day that you really should like what you see!!

Did u ask? If u did maybe don't ask...lol don't give them the option to say no. I was only Not allowed to take pics at Macy's, kleinfelds and RK. but like I mentioned we didn't ask everyone just took out Thier phones and snapped away.

Hey girrrl Village Bridal in babylon is where I got mine and they not only allowed, but encouraged pictures. My attendant let me know with me having to ask. Chrissy helped me and she's awesome. I make sure she was there when I went back with my bridesmaids and another time with my FMIL. She's sweet and super helpful.

No, we didn't ask. We were told to NOT take pictures once the cellphone came out. We could only take pictures if I said yes to the dress. I think we did ask at one place but that was because we had such weird experiences at all the other ones previously. I did go to Fantasia on Friday and had a really good experience with Candy there. Still haven't found THE dress yet though.

Lillettes in bellemore(pat was so nice she avtually dimmed the lights for ambience) lol...bridal suite of bayshore and wedding plaza in floral park let us take pics. Other places I was able to sneak some pics in the dressing room lol. I have to say definitely try to take pictures of every dress you try on. A dress can look totally different in a picture. Plus you will see how it photographs for your big day!
