What salon would you recommend to buy your dress from? I am not talking great shopping experiences. I am talking 100% happy with alterations, etc. I have heard so many great shopping stories, but horror alteration stories. Please let me know. Thanks so much!

I bought my dress at Princess Bridal in Farmingdale - it has bad reviews online, but I didn't experience any of that. And the woman doing my alterations was great. She did a wonderful job on the dress and really worked hard to get it the way that I wanted and for me to be comfortable in it. There were no issues there.

I'm doing Kleinfelds but my sister had a good experience at Bridal Suite in Bay Shore and so did I with my bridesmaid dress for her wedding.

Bridal Suite of Bay Shore....bought my dress and had alterations done there. Staff is great and prices are reasonable. I have no complaints with the alterations they have done - came in under the cap too.

I second Angel. I purchased my dress there (It should be in this month! ) and have heard nothing but great things about the women who does their alternations.
